Is sunless tanning safe?
Yes it is! The FDA approved Dihydroxyacetone (DHA), the active ingredient which is derived from sugurcane, for safety in 1973. When applied to the skin, DHA penetrates only the top layers of skin, it does not absorb into the body or bloodstream.

How does the Spray Tan Adelaide work?
The tanning solution is applied evenly by your technician with a spray gun. Because the solution has a bronzer in it, this allows the technician to see exactly where they have sprayed, so you won't be left looking streaky! Will I go orange?
Your technician will use the AVIVA LABS skinType guide to help you determine what percentage solution would best suit you. AVIVA LABS solutions are designed so that only a light application is necessary. If you wish to go darker we suggest you have a higher DHA percentage solution rather than a heavier application.

I always burn - never tan in the sun. Can I still get a sunless spray tan Adelaide?
